About me
I am an experienced sports scientist with a strong foundation in applied high-performance environments and a commitment to evidence-informed practice. My career began with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, followed by a physiology traineeship at the Victorian Institute of Sport, working alongside elite swimmers, cyclists, and track and field athletes. I went on to complete a Master’s degree in High Performance Sport, conducting research with the Melbourne Rebels.
My professional roles have included Physiology Scholar at the Australian Institute of Sport, Performance Scientist with the Brisbane Broncos, and Director of Sports Science for the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA. I also served as Head of Performance for Perth Glory in the A-League and currently work as the Sport Science Coordinator at the Gold Coast Titans.
I have a PhD in Complex Systems Analysis in Rugby Union, with research centred on collective tactical behaviour and performance modelling. My interests focus on load management, individualised athlete conditioning, applied research and innovation, and the design of organisational frameworks that align departments, values, and long-term vision.
Across all roles, I’m driven by the integration of rigorous science, practical application, and system-level thinking to enhance athlete development and organisational performance.
